The Scottish team proved to be stronger than Tottenham on the last match day of Spartak Cup by scoring two unreciprocated goals to opponents’ gates.

Moscow fans of Celtic and Tottenham came to support their favorite teams in the match between the Scottish and English players. Inconsiderable in number fans prepared thoroughly: they brought banners to the match, and during the entire game the fans encouraged their favorite players with football chants traditional for respective clubs.   

The Englishmen, who approached the game holding the fourth position, failed to give a resounding rebuff to overwhelming pressure of Celtic that has proved with its own playing that for a reason the team lags behind Barcelona only in the tournament table. In the first half Paul McMillan, the best finisher of the tournament, compelled the guards to commit a foul in the penalty area and converted the awarded penalty himself. In the second half of the game substitute McIntosh finished a three-step combination of partners by powering the ball into the near corner besides Tottenham goalkeeper’s back. This victory has brought Celtic the title of the second strongest team in 2013 Spartak Cup.
