Spartak youths beat Dynamo Zagreb in the second round of Spartak Cup 2019, taking place in Sokolniki from 13th to 18th of August.

Red-white started very actively with high pressing, however without pure chances to score in early exchanges. Also the Croatians hardly passed the middle line in the first 15 minutes and didn’t provide any serious reasons to worry for Spartak goalie afterwards.

Right before the half-time Spartak scored. Svyatoslav Kozhedub crossed, and Daniil Grigoriev put it home after Stepan Melnikov intelligent one-touch pass – 1:0.

Troubles for Dynamo kept on after the half-time. Nikolay Tolstopyatov found Golyatov with the long ball and the latter easily escaped two defenders to score the second goal, the last one for the game.

It is the second match in the second round where only one of the rivals scored.
